about

"Unknown Depths" was concepted as an intermediate step to the "Operations" release, which followed half a year later on the same label "ZeECc" (now defunct). This release is all about monotonously flowing deep techno music with the contrast of early morning vs. late night, depending on mood and rhythm. While "Early Morning" builds up with a straightforward beat and easy percussions to get going into the day, "Late Night" is the logical opposite with a deeper, slightly darker sound and a more thoughtful rhythm to close the day. Both tracks were made from the same root design to underline the fact that they are related to each other. Additionally, both short orignal versions had been extended to longer versions for enthusiasts of slowly unfolding music. Last but not least, the release contains a melancholic piece which was heavily inspired by an artist who is not described in any more detail here.
