about

"Solid State Society" marked the beginning of the music project's new direction into post-modern/future/sci-fi/space worlds, where the actual "ship" (Nautilus, seen as a transport medium) just changed its terrain and time. This change wasn't planned before, it came naturally due to the revival of Nemo's fascination about space, cyberpunk, far worlds in outer space and all those great vintage times, where people imagined the post-modern future in the 80s with gaming computers and sci-fi books. This step also introduced the end of the oceanic themes, with which the Nautilus Project started in 2008.

This album was previously released on U-Cover (Belgium) with a limited stock of CDr. Unfortunately, it never received any mastering. After some years of waiting and due to the launch of the music project's Bandcamp site, the album found its new place with a proper mastering for a better audio listening experience, including all tracks and a remix by Hieronmyus.
